Hi, I’m Kendall.
Artist, mom, and the heart behind Gather to Create.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I earned my degree in art from the University of Wisconsin–Stout, but my career took me in a different direction. I spent years consulting and helping Fortune 100 companies and creative and marketing teams solve problems, work better together, and bring big ideas to life.
In many ways, creativity never really left. It just looked different.
And through every chapter of my career, one thing remained especially important to me: people. Building strong personal and professional relationships, bringing people together, and creating genuine connection has always been at the center of who I am.
But somewhere between a demanding career, packed calendars, and becoming a mom, I realized how easy it is to lose time for the things that make us feel most like ourselves. Creating. Gathering. Being fully present with people we care about.
As a mom, I also began to see how much effort it can take just to make connection happen. A simple night out can require childcare, schedules, reservations, and logistics before the night has even begun. And while I personally love opening my home and bringing people together, I know hosting can sometimes feel like more work than enjoyment.
That’s where Gather to Create began.
I wanted to create an easier way for people to gather with purpose. To slow down, put the phones away, make something with their hands, and spend a few hours actually being together. We bring the experience to you and thoughtfully handle the details, so there is less pressure to plan, entertain, or make everything perfect.
For me, Gather to Create feels like coming full circle. It brings together the creativity I started with, the connection I valued throughout my career, and a belief that has only grown stronger with time: we need more opportunities to genuinely gather with one another.
Because Gather to Create isn’t really about making the perfect project.
It’s about what happens around the table while you’re making it.
The conversations. The laughter. The stories. The chance to reconnect with people you love, people you work beside, or even a part of yourself you haven’t made time for lately.
I believe we all need more reasons to gather.
You bring the people. I’ll create the space for connection.
